Mick Mars is one of the founding members and lead guitarist for the world's most successful and truly decadent American rock bands, Mötley Crüe. Mick Mars suffers from a debilitating and degenerative bone disorder which causes the spine to stiffen like cement called ankylosing spondylitis ("AS"). After numerous predictions of imminent death by doctors all over the world since he was officially diagnosed with AS at 27 years old, Mars credits his love of music and playing his guitar as the reason he is still alive and rockin' today.
Each guitar string bracelet is handcrafted from recycled fine silver and guitar strings used and donated by the artist you select. The bracelets must slip over your hand unless a custom clasp is added; please size accordingly. Bracelets are packaged in recycled DVD cases with certificates of authenticity. Profits are donated to charities selected by the artists.
